1) Are You Running A Business OR Just Doin’ Hair - This power packed seminar will help salon owners and independent contractors run their businesses more effectively. In order for a stylist to make a $1000 in 3 days, a stylist must be running a business and not just doing hair. If you are a salon owner and want to take your business to the next level by turning a greater profit for your salon, bringing more clientele into your salon by developing a marketing plan and attracting new stylists, this class will take you through the process of elevation. This seminar will take students into the world of salon ownership. Many stylists desire to own their own salon but there has been no road map to take them from hair stylist to salon ownership. This road map into salon ownership will first ask stylists the question “Are you Running A Business OR Just Doin’ Hair. The answer to this question will let students know if they are ready for salon ownership.
This seminar will cover the following topics:

  • How to make a $100,000 a year as a beauty professional
  • How to get my business started – what licenses and credentials do I need as a boot renter/Independent Operator or salon owner to make sure my business is setup properly
  • How to finance my salon build out
  • What goes into the salon build out
  • How to attract new stylists to your salon

  • Contracts – what you need to know about booth rental and independent operator contracts
  • How to Build Your Business Credit - How to build your business credit to finance your beauty business instead of using your personal credit

2) Building Your Business Credit Seminar - One of the great benefits of starting a business is that it is possible to establish a new and separate credit profile that is distinct from your personal credit profile. This means that although you may have poor personal credit, you can structure your new business in a manner that allows you to build a pristine credit profile for your company, allowing you to receive loans, credit cards, lines of credit, etc. that you would not be able to obtain as an individual (and often at better interest rates). When you build credit for your business, you don’t have to use your personal credit as a guarantee to obtain money for your business. You can build business credit for your business regardless of your personal credit history. Having business credit will allow you to have capital for your business, protect and separate your personal assets from your business, allow you to purchase salon equipment, computers and vehicle without checking your personal credit.

In this seminar business owners will learn:

  • Learn the 8 basic steps required to build their business credit
  • The advantages of building a Business Credit Profile
  • How to start building business credit for their business
